It’s been seventeen months since getting laid off while expecting my first child and I must say since giving birth I’ve been trying to find the ‘perfect’ job I could turn into a career and spend as much time with my family. The job hunt has been a journey I must say but within the last three months my ideas have begun to spring into action. I’m filled with so much excitement and anticipation to share tips and leads to other women on my blog so they are able to take care of business while taking care of their families. Most of the leads I’ll be posting are remote/work from home which I will try to update on a weekly basis. I’ll also share companies that have great benefits and are family friendly.
I’ll also share some businesses you can start on your own without tearing a hole in your pocket. Hope this helps someone – never give up on your dreams –
Arise Virtual Solutions – Customer Service -Work from Home – US,Canada & UK residents only
Neiman Marcus – Seasonal Customer Care – Remote – Dallas, TX*
The Chat Shop – Web Chat Agent – US & UK only
Apple – AppleCare at Home Advisor – Remote – Dallas, TX
Nestle Water – Remote Customer Service Rep – Remote – Coppell, TX

Some great businesses you can start on your own for barely nothing are:
Cleaning service – If you enjoy cleaning, love making life easier for people, have great hacks for organization & great time management skills this is something you can do. Build your clients from those you know then branch out with advertising once you know how many homes you can manage in a week.
Laundry Attendant – I don’t know much people who enjoy doing their own laundry but are so ready to pay someone else to do it for them. Figure out your cost per load or LB, whether you’ll charge extra for ironing and dry cleaning and add in your cost per mileage…you’ll be surprised to see how much revenue you could make off of such a business.
Childcare – If you have qualifications, CPR certified, have a child proof room to work in and enjoy working with children then this might be something you should consider. Part time or full time, maybe add a Montessori program so your clients have a reason to keep coming back.
Auctioneer – Do you have an eye for antiques, enjoy thrift shopping and end up finding treasures? Create your own auction site or sell your items off of eBay.
If there are any listings or need help finding in another region, state or country just send me an email, I’ll be more than happy to help.
Stay confident, keep searching with a positive mind set & never think it’s impossible!
